JAMB 2019:SALES OF FORM BEGINS, SEE STEP BY STEP REGISTRATION PROCESS

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced sale of registration forms, for the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, today Thursday, January 10, 2019.

The sale of forms which was officially announced will last for six weeks.

– JAMB 2019 registration form costs: N3,500 only
– JAMB CBT 2019 Registration fee costs: N700 only 
– JAMB 2019 textbook costs : N500 only

– Personal and active e-mail address and mobile phone number

– Create your JAMB profile 

No candidate should proceed to any CBT centre without first creating a profile. Candidates are advised to create a profile by sending their name (Surname First-name and Middle-name) via SMS to 55019. JAMB ePIN registration payment. 

After which a 10 digit profile code would be sent to their telephone number. This code will then be used to purchase the application document at the point of purchase (Banks, MMOs, MFBs, USSD Partners etc).

 A form e-pin would then be sent to the candidate via SMS. The candidate is to present the e-pin at any JAMB accredited CBT centre for registration. 

Then Visit any accredited CBT centers with your personal details, the profile and evidence of payment.

– The CBT centers supplies, at no extra  or additional cost, the prescribed reading text for JAMB 2019 and the CD containing:

a) e-brochure showing guidelines on admission detailing list of tertiary institutions and available programmes of study in Nigeria. 

b) Syllabus (e-syllabus or online syllabus) for the JAMB 2019.

c) Step by step guide on completion of the application form of JAMB 2019. 

d) A video messages from the Registrar of JAMB to candidates, and a demo on how to use eight (8) keys for UTME examination without mouse. for easier and hitch free exam. (For candidates with little familiarity with Computers).

 Each Candidate is required to complete the online application form by supplying the required details such as name, e-mail address, L.G.A., academic qualification, etc. CORRECTLY 

viii. At the CBT centers, Candidate’s ten fingers biometric and image must be captured and uploaded COMPULSORY 

ix. O level and or A level grades are to be provided by candidates.

Candidates who are awaiting their result should supply the result online as soon as the results are available on JAMB’s official portal with immediate effect. 

x. Each Candidate is to collect his e-slip at the end of registration as evidence of registration and must be kept for reference purposes. 

There will be no offline registration, as all the accredited CBT centers have been empowered, enrolled and entrusted for real life online registration.

Note: No candidate should register at any centers other than the accredited CBT centers and JAMB State office. Any candidate who is registered outside approved centres, will be identified and disqualified.
