As at about 3:45 pm on Monday 17th June 2019, a young man, who is suspected to be a student of Ekiti State University Ado Ekiti displayed symptoms of madness in public.
The guy, who according to reports started misbehaving at NNPC was alighting from "Akoto",( a small bus that commutes students especially from school to town and vice versa) which was reported to have loaded from EKSU.
Immediately he alighted, he ran into the middle of the road, and made attempts to attack passers by too.
He was taken and beaten by people who taught he wanted to commit suicide.
In attempts to curb his misbehaviors, he was tied in the legs and hands, but later on the crowd realized that he is showing symptoms of insanity.
According to reports he was shouting "Baba Dada" and "AJE" (which means wealth).
Cowries were also found with him.
This made witnesses to conclude that he must have been involved in some sort of rituals which didn't end well for him.
Meanwhile, other people gave contrary views of add substances or spiritual attack.
But now, he is reported to be back to his senses and now okay
