JAMB 2019: JAMB BANS SENSITIVE ITEMS IN EXAMINATION HALLS

Jamb bans the following items in examination hall.


The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has Ban the use of some gadgets and other materials as mentioned below from the 2019 Exam hall. 

This items are hereby adviced to be dropped at home or before entering the examination hall.

This is to inform candidates who have successfully registered ahead of the 2019 UTME coming up on the 11th of April 2019, that the Joint Admission and Matriculation board has giving out a list of items that should not be taken to any CBT centre where the examination will take place. 

 candidates are hereby advised to strictly adhere to this instruction,and should  therfore not come will the following items mentioned below.

°°wrist watches


°°pen/biro


°°mobile phones or similar electronic devices


°°spy reading glasses which should be scrutinized


°°calculators or similar electronic devices


°°USB, CD, hard disks and/or similar storage devices books or any reading/writing material,


°°cameras, recorders, microphones, ear pieces, ink/pen readers, smart lenses,smart rings/jewelries, smart buttons and Bluetooth devices.



The JAMB Registrar Prof Is-haq Oloyede  has Inaugurated the following groups

 JAMB Monitoring Group,
 A Civil Society Groups,
 to make sure the above items is not taken to the examination hall so as to avoid any form of Examination malpractice, 

In this case all eyeglasses must be scrutinized properly by this groups before you can be permitted to write the exam.

Candidates are once again adviced to endeavor to avoid carrying any of the above listed item to the Examination hall. 

Examination official (board staff or ad hoc staff) will be on the look for this items and anyone who is found with any of these prohibited items in the examination hall will be dealt with as such  action would be treated as a deliberate act of examination sabotage and malpratices and necessary sanction will be applied.
