APC TRAILER CLAIMS LIFE AT IWOROKO : SEE MORE PHOTOS AND CAUSE OF THE ACCIDENT

Last Night, The saddened news broke on the media that a trailer caused an accident which claimed lifes of people at iworoko ekiti, ekiti state.

The accident involved a trailer and commercial cars killing nothing less than 20 people involving children selling fufu by the road side along the market junction.

According to our sources, The trailer who was coming along ifaki road was said to have lost its break and while trying to use the kerbs very close to the Iworoko junction as stoppage was said to lost control and jump over to the other side of the market claiming a lot of life.

Another source said, The trailer was carrying APC rice, probably meant for rallies and campaign to ONDO STATE.

An anonymous witness as given thanks to Almighty God:

I personally thank God for saving the the students of Ekiti State University if not for the ASUU strike, this market is usually busy, especially at nights and majority of the people are always students of Ekiti State University.

I mourn with the families of the souls that was lost and I pray that God will console them.

*.Suggesting appropriate books for the department.

*.Facilitating and promoting reading clubs.

*.Assessing library services and collections in order to best meet library users' needs.

*.Building collections to respond to changing community needs or demands *.Creating pathfinders. There are lots more to mention few.I urge you all to vote for me.

Defining the word PRO, PR0 is an acronym for PUBLIC RELATION OFFICER and i will explain it as a person under general direction from a designated administrator, to be responsible for a comprehensive public relations effort, including evaluation of attitudes/opinions of the institution's publics, identification of the policies of the institution with the public interest, and the execution of a variety of media programs to earn public understanding/support. Speaking on his aims for the department as he is contesting. I wish to do lots of things with God's grace,and here are the very few of them, 1.I wish to work with appropriate departmental officers to establish public relations program goals/objectives in support of the mission of the institution, including procedures for periodic evaluations. 2.I also wish to identify the several publics and audiences of the department and their relationship to the mission. 3.within available resources, i wish to establish research/evaluation techniques to periodically measure/analyze knowledge levels, attitudes, and opinions of designated audiences. 4.Gather information about the institution's policies, programs and posture through communication with administration, department,faculty,department, staff, students and representatives of the other University System campuses. 5.Act as public relations/communications counsel to the department's administration 8.Develop and coordinate publicity and other communications support related to events/programs within assigned responsibility, and assist other groups sponsoring programs in publicizing their efforts. 9.Develop news, photographs, advertising, and direct mail materials, for optimum communication with identified publics. 10.Serve as official representative spokesperson for the institution and department in disseminating information about programs, plans, events and activities to news media and in responding to media queries about the same. 11.Providing assistance to representatives of the press at special campus events. 12.Provide design, editorial, production and distribution advice/guidance to internal departments/divisions/organizations preparing publications and other materials on recruitment, fund raising, or support-generating publics. 13.Produce, design or select art or photography for publication. 14.Design, produce, and/or administer a variety of inter-personal public relations programs; e.g., speakers bureaus, special events, displays, open-houses, dedications or tours.
