JAMB CAPS ADMISSION AND IT'S EFFECT ON ASPIRANTS

It is no more news that jamb has been giving admission through her Central Admission Processing Stystem-CAPS. This has cause happiness and yet confusion between aspirants that have gotten CAPS and those that have not. Firstly,I will like to tell you JAMB CAPS is very important in the admission processing of all institutuions in Nigeria.So i will gladly congratulate you if you have gotten admission on CAPS. Mind you,CAPS doesnt give you automatic admission into a school. You might end up being on the second list or third list,not the first if the school finally releases admission. For every candidates who are yet to see their CAPS ''testimony'',chillax,calm down and sip coke. Know very well that,EKSU grants admission till february or march and evrn beyond.And by this time Jamb must have closed her CAPS for admission,so what happens to those that get admission during this time?? Very simple! The Admission Office of the school make arrangements and update every affected candidate's JAMB portal and voom! You are now a bonafide student of the school. So in a nut shell..... All aspirants whose CAPS is yet to change to admitted should be rest minded as testimoney is yours soon...... Hope you find this helpful?? Librarians provide instruction on information literacy We went further to ask her what she has in mind to do if material and financial resources permits her.

*.Researching topics of interest for the department.

*.Referring the department to other community,organizations and government offices.

*.Suggesting appropriate books for the department.

*.Reviewing books and journal databases.

*.Facilitating and promoting reading clubs.

*.Assessing library services and collections in order to best meet library users' needs.

*.Building collections to respond to changing community needs or demands *.Creating pathfinders. There are lots more to mention few.I urge you all to vote for me.

WE present to you BABAYOMI TEMITOPE PETER PKA: DR BABS STATE OF ORIGIN:EKITI STATE TOWN: ERIO EKITI HOBBY: STUDYING Babayomi Temitope Peter who is contestinf for the post of PRO in the department of Industrial Chemistry under the umbrella of STUDENT CHEMICAL SOCIETY OF NIGERIA(SCSN) EKITI STATE UNIVERSITY CHAPTER. Defining the word PRO, PR0 is an acronym for PUBLIC RELATION OFFICER and i will explain it as a person under general direction from a designated administrator, to be responsible for a comprehensive public relations effort, including evaluation of attitudes/opinions of the institution's publics, identification of the policies of the institution with the public interest, and the execution of a variety of media programs to earn public understanding/support. Speaking on his aims for the department as he is contesting. I wish to do lots of things with God's grace,and here are the very few of them, 1.I wish to work with appropriate departmental officers to establish public relations program goals/objectives in support of the mission of the institution, including procedures for periodic evaluations. 2.I also wish to identify the several publics and audiences of the department and their relationship to the mission. 3.within available resources, i wish to establish research/evaluation techniques to periodically measure/analyze knowledge levels, attitudes, and opinions of designated audiences. 4.Gather information about the institution's policies, programs and posture through communication with administration, department,faculty,department, staff, students and representatives of the other University System campuses. 5.Act as public relations/communications counsel to the department's administration 8.Develop and coordinate publicity and other communications support related to events/programs within assigned responsibility, and assist other groups sponsoring programs in publicizing their efforts. 9.Develop news, photographs, advertising, and direct mail materials, for optimum communication with identified publics. 10.Serve as official representative spokesperson for the institution and department in disseminating information about programs, plans, events and activities to news media and in responding to media queries about the same. 11.Providing assistance to representatives of the press at special campus events. 12.Provide design, editorial, production and distribution advice/guidance to internal departments/divisions/organizations preparing publications and other materials on recruitment, fund raising, or support-generating publics. 13.Produce, design or select art or photography for publication. 14.Design, produce, and/or administer a variety of inter-personal public relations programs; e.g., speakers bureaus, special events, displays, open-houses, dedications or tours.
